Rabbinic Transition
We are so grateful to have had 39 years of leadership with Rabbi Feingold. She plans to retire in June of 2024, and we are actively involved in a transition process for the congregation.
Beth Hillel Temple is following this roadmap:

We are following a tried and true best practice articulated by the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) & CCAR (Central Conference for American Rabbis) of hiring an interim rabbi for one year.
The purpose of the interim rabbinate is to guide a congregation in a smooth and effective transition to its next settled rabbi.
Beth Hillel Temple’s goals for the upcoming interim year are to:
-
emerge from the transition year with renewed enthusiasm and an even stronger community
-
begin to improve efficiency in our organizational structure and leadership succession
-
identify strategies that will strengthen Beth Hillel’s connection with a diverse membership
