Programs for Youth

Beth Hillel Temple and Beth Israel Sinai Temple in Racine operate Bet Shalom, a joint Sunday school with classes from preschool through confirmation. The children meet for one semester at each synagogue during the school year. Beth Hillel has its own Hebrew School and offers B'nai Mitzvah tutoring, taught by the rabbi. Monthly family services are designed especially for youth, including a story in lieu of a sermon, Religious school classes frequently participate on the bima. Usually these services are preceded by a pot-luck dinner. There is a youth group whose members have the opportunity to attend conclaves and conventions. The temple also offers summer camp scholarships and special programs for Temple youths.

Volunteer Connection

Beth Hillel Temple relies on the efforts of its members who volunteer to serve. Below is a list of the various committees that our members work on to make the temple the success it is.
