7:00 p.m., Beth Hillel is one of seven sites
statewide that will be privileged to host a preview film screening of a
Wisconsin Public Television documentary, “Chosen Towns,” to be aired on
Public Television on October15. Beth Hillel’s Jewish community and Rabbi
Feingold are among the featured stories about Jewish life in small
communities in Wisconsin. The public is invited.

Tuesday, October 7
4:30 p.m. (Note: Time Change), Talmud Circle
resumes. The time has changed to encourage newcomers. Class will meet on the
1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 4:30 at BHT or at the home of Ed and Connie Block. We
study this unique, classical text in English and find it endlessly
fascinating and relevant. New participants will be given introductory
materials and this first session will review what Talmud is all about. Call
Rabbi Feingold if you are interested so that texts may be ordered and
materials prepared.
