The Adult Education Committee each year makes available various programs.
The committee is now asking for your help in planning future programs. We want to know what you want.
Please tell us what will satisfy your needs and interests. Answer as honestly and realistically as you can.
Please mark only those courses or programs you plan on attending.

Proposed 5770 Offerings (Please check what interests you):

Evening Courses (TUESDAYS)
Please note: The following members of our community will each offer one of these courses
in the season designated while Rabbi Feingold is on Sabbatical.

Fall (6 sessions)- Rabbi Michael Remson at BHT
Only one will be offered:
Reform Judaism - What We Believe and Why We are Not Orthodox
What Does Judaism Say About...? (health care, abortion, creationism, etc.)
Comparative Judaism- What differentiates the various streams, including new movements

Spring (6 sessions)- Dr. Judith Fai-Podlipnik, Ph.D. Southeastern Louisiana University Department of History and
Political Science, at BHT (fee for non-members)
Only one will be offered:
History of the Holocaust
History of the Holocaust in Eastern Europe
History of Germany in WWII

Adult Hebrew with Camille Bluestein would be offered in one of the following time slots at BHT (ALL participants
will pay tuition and a book fee):

SUNDAY for one hour while school is in session (9:30am-12am)
WEDNESDAY for one hour while school is in session (5:15pm-7pm)
THURSDAY Feb 18- May 13 (6:30pm - 7:30pm)

Quilting with Anne Rabin and Judith Warren

Shaliach Tzibur (service leader) training with Rabbi Feingold, Thurs, Oct 8 and/or 29, 7:30pm.
Chanukah concert/program TBA (Chemerow program) Sat., Dec. 12 or Sun, Dec. 13 before
annual Chanukah dinner
Lil Rev concert “Jews and Blues&rdquo - Sunday, April 25 4:30pm.
